Thanks alot Geert. I too cannot afford the program, but I have gotten alot out of the videos that you have sent.

I too, have that same fear that a shark is going to come out of the drain in the deep end of a pool…I cannot swim underwater in a pool at all. Just wanted you to know you are not alone! LOL…

    Thanks again,
    Mandy

I don’t have panic attacks but teach students that often have them. I find your comments very helpful and have referred the students to watch you videos and possibly buy your CDs

Hi Greet, thank you so much for your mini videos. I too can’t afford your cd’s as i have 2 little boys, but your clips are helping me to understand why i have panic attacks.
They are so scary and very frighten, but i am taking in everything you say. Glad to see you have been through them and have come out the other side.

I have got a very supportive family which are great. Thanks again for your information

Over the weeks you have sent video clips, I have come to realize that in my anxiety, I unintentionally taught my kids to be anxious. Caution to others. Getting through this is important to those in your influence.

Interesting about the fear of sharks in the swimming pool I have the exact same fear! If the tiles at the bottom of the water are black for instance I get the flash of image of the shark at the corner of my eye. I know it’s ridiculous and irrational. I think it may come from the James Bond film when the baddy lets the shark into the swimming pool to eat someone who has betrayed him…or perhaps watching some Jaws film…not sure…but unlike you I do have a fear of them in the sea too but it doesn’t stop me from going in but I find it quite scary at times. I always thought that if I could face my biggest fear and swim with sharks I might feel I could do anything! Anyway thank you for video…I’m a mature student at the moment so I’m not able to commit to your program right now but I will look into it for the future. By the way you have a lovely manner and face! Thought I should add that! 🙂

I DON’T HAVE THE MONEY FOR YOUR CDS RIGHT NOW, BUT I WILL GET THE COLLECTION AS SOON AS I’M ABLE. THANK YOU ALWAYS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO E-MAIL ME. HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON!

  12. Julia says:

I love your videos Geert, they are really inspiring. They make so much sense and really make me think about how I can deal with my anxiety.

  13. Judy Warren says:

    Thank you Garette
your video’s have been very helpful, I deal with alot of social anxiety because I am afraid that I will get into a fight with my friends, I am afraid if I think it will happen it will happen like I am putting negative energy into the world, and my panic will get worse, I totally relate to the irrational fear of sharks in the pool, I have a fear of flying because I am afraid if I go on air plane I will go crazy

  14. Tara says:

Hi Garette, I think your vidoes great, but can you also talk about ocd sufferers or is it just part of anxiety and panic attacks?

  15. Oscar Damian Sardiñas says:

I used to and still get that same fear of a shark in the swimming pool. Ehhh….too many James Bond movies. In all seriousness though. I am on week 5 of this program, 6 if bc I needed week 1 twice, and I am feeling great already. Not fully there yet but I feel a 50% improvement. You are convincing even to someone like me who is not so easily convinced. I feel comfort and I can tell you’ve been in my shoes plenty of times so who better to guide me through this. Thank you.

  16. Donna says:

Hi Geert, you are amazing having made such a remarkable recovery from your own panic attacks and now have the ability to help others. Your videos have helped me lot and I look forward to hearing from you. Right now I cannot afford your sessions as I am retired and on a fixed income. However, you are an inspiration to me and apparently to a lot of people. Keep up your kind work,I know everyone appreciates your help.

I suffer a lot from nerves, so do many others in my family. We kind of predict an outcome of an event before it takes place, especially if what we are about to do has an element of danger. I never live my life fully, because I am afraid of what “might” happen. In fact, I never really live at all, and end up angry with myself because I dont take risks. I find the mail shot videos helpful because they give me a different way of looking at things, especially the one about the dogs where one is depressed because he will never jump the wall, and keeps on getting electrocuted. I am like that depressed dog, and am gradually giving up hope that my life will ever be any better. Your videos are helping me get a better perspective on life in general. Thank you

Thanks my man. your awesome. thanks for the help

  19. Mary says:

I loved the video about control. I want to be in control and panic attacks
get in the way. I will keep trying and surviv e the panic attacks, you did.

My psychologist and I are going to review your tapes together and see if
    others can be helped/

  20. Ben says:

Thanks geert.I never thought that managing anxiety could be so simple, but it really is.The tips are so basic and they really work,if you apply them regularly.

  21. Becky says:

Time after time it seems Geert is talking right to me! Knowing I’m not alone is great- but reducing (and hopefully one day ELIMINATING!) my panic and anxiety through these great videos is priceless! Thank you for speaking up, speaking out and throwing a lifeline.

  22. CJ says:

First off I have to say I have the tapes (cds) and outside of a few that kinda a boring n pointless (for me), (no offense-u2 will find ur fav cds!) they are a GOD SEND. One of the BEST if not the BEST programs out there. Geert is real, down to earth, and AWESOME…yes I am a non paid genuine almost ex agoraphobic spokesperson thanks to Geert, and what can I say except GET THE TAPES, go without groceries or dont pay ur electric bill if you have too, but GET THEM,(or make ur therapist get them and share them with you) THEY WORK. Take this from an almost 😉 older lady who has seen every therapist in the ph book, had read every book on the topic etc. and still was getting worse. I do, unlike Geert believe in anti anx. meds, but what good are meds if you have no program to follow? I think meds with his program are VERY freeing and you will find urself taking less of the meds! I LOVE his videos! Just remember this and he will pound it into your head, and yes its hard to get it at first, but when you get it YOU GET IT and that is WHATEVER HAPPENS ITS OK! 🙂 Hugs Geert, my hero!

  23. michelle says:

thank you so much. you will never know how grateful i am to you for helping me this year.

  24. Kat lozano says:

    Geert!

I love you and thank God he put you in my path. I am starting session 5. I feel better and still applying the skills you are teaching me. If there is anyone reading this the audio Course is the best investment you can make. We spend money on things we dont need and I know times are tough but if you put a jar and drop a dollar here and there before you know it you will have enough money to buy the Course. If I did it anyone can. I love you Geert!!

  25. khavar says:

Thank you so much. I appreciate your help. Your videos help me to control my panic attack. Thank you.

  26. Dana says:

    Geert,
Great job with this video, all of your advise is very helpful. Thanks so much. Also for those of you that can’t afford the sessions as of yet try reading a book called Hope And Help For Your Nerves by Claire Weekes it is fantastic and can help alot until you save the money to get the audio sessions.

  27. myra says:

Geert, thank you so much, I bought the audio course and it is working litlte by little, please keep sending me mini sessions. May God bless you for all the help you are giving. You cant imagine how grateful I am for this course. You are better than any psychologist or psychiatrist. I have been everywhere to great professionals and you did the trick. Thank you so much.

  28. Florensia says:

Do anyone fears from waiting on semaphores? Or crossing on street? I can’t handle that fear, I’d rather go and being hit from the car’s than to stay and wait for green light. It’s sad 🙁

  29. Sian says:

Thanks Geert for yet another helpful video. I am on week 11 of the cd course and my anxiety has much reduced although I know I have more work to do still. The weekly emails and videos really help to keep me focused. Thank you Geert.

  30. Jan says:

Thanks Geert for your always inspiring “material”

  31. Pamela says:

    Hi Geert!

I love your love for panic attacks because, due to that love, I can finally recover the strenght to deal with my anxiety. I wonder if you have some advice, some tips for agorafobia’s sufferers too. And, by the way, I like your voice… It is very pleasant to listen to it 😉

Please, keep helping people to overcome anxiety problems. I think this is your mission here on Earth 😉
    Lord bless you,

    Pam
