That’s so true! I’ve behaved like the depressed dog and this video will help me to change. I don’t recall how I found your website but I’m so glad I did!

I’ve just received the first session too and I’m anxious to start (good anxiety this time ๐Ÿ™‚ ).

Thanks for sharing all of this with us! God Bless you.

    Hello Geert,

I received my cds and just wanted to let you know I’m really enjoying them. I’m only on the 3rd cd and already I can see a positive change. I hate that you had to go through the panic attacks but I know that is the reason you’re able to help so many people. I feel your example is worth far more than any degree you could ever get. I do have one suggestion for you. Have you ever given any thought to putting this information in a book? Like I said, I’m getting a lot out of the cds but I’m a visual person and would really like to have this on paper as well. Anyway, I wish you much success.

    Michelle

  3. Michael says:

Hello Geert, great lesson. Thank you for that. I am using the second audio disc now. I am definitely feeling a bit better. The only thing I am missing is the relax disc. I have no way to play it while I am in bed. Is it possible to get it in a cassette? I know they are old technology but I do have a cassette player.

  4. Linda Fiesman says:

I am so skeptical and I feel its a risk but I see such a sincerity with you and as soon as I get back to work I plan on sending for your videos. Thankyou so much for giving me a hope. Linda

  5. Traci Bruno says:

Thanks so much for your videos. I watch them faithfully. Unfortunately I am unable to afford to purchase your cd’s at this time but hopefully that will change soon. Thanks so much again…you have given me hope.

Hi Geert! I came across your site a few weeks ago and I’m hooked! Not only do your videos give me hope but it’s also nice to know that I’m not alone in this battle! I look forward to hearing how you were able to kick your panic attacks as I’m hoping to kick mine soon!

Take care and God Bless You!
    Kelley

  7. Lori says:

    Thanks Geert,
I have to go on a plane a week from today and I am still scared but you have lowered my anxiety a lot. Thanks so much! Hopefully I will hear from you again before the flight!

  8. Camila says:

    Dearest Geert,
I am only on my first session and I have already started to feel the change in me. I decided to become dog #2 and drove to another city by myself (!!!!) and I did start to feel the racing heart, shakiness and sweatiness but the Tsunami method made me arrive to my destination safely and without even pulling to the side of the road! I am so grateful and happy I found your website and got your program. It is working for me! It was not easy but now I know I can have my life back.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much.

  9. Katherine says:

The key to getting better must be that each person can manage his or her panic and anxiety. Thanks for this great message. I am having panic attacks after many years of being panic free. The interesting thing is that no therapist has ever told me that I can control the panic. Isn’t that just amazing since this must be the most important thing that people must believe?

  10. mary says:

    Dearest Geert,
Your teachings have given me the necessary courage to continue fighting. I am looking forward to reading your e-mails.

    God Bless You

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for the help you have given me and people like me.

    Hi,

I am a Mental Health Counselor and have found your insights to be priceless. I am always looking for ways to help the population that I work with. You have a canny insight that I find easy to relate to and to relate to others. Thanks for sharing your success. You throw a pebble in a brook and the ripples go on and on. You will never know the people you have helped that will go on to be good fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, and friends. Again, you are providing a real service to others. Keep up the good work.

    Linda

  12. Rekahyah says:

    HELLO MY HELPFUL FRIEND,

I WOULD HAVE REACTED LIKE THE DEPRESSED DOG! I ALWAYS WONDERED IF THE REST OF MY LIFE WOULD BE FULL OF ANXIETY ATTACKS. BECAUSE OF FEAR OF TRYING TO DO THE THINGS I USE TO, I GAVE UP HOPE AND THOUGHT I WOULD LIVE WITH ANXIETY ATTACKS FOREVER. I GOT USE TO BEING AFRAID AND NOT LIVING MY LIFE NORMALLY, UNTIL I FOUND YOUR WEBSITE. YOUR VIDEOS ARE REALLY HELPING ME HEEL. I USED THE SPIDER IN THE KITCHEN EXAMPLE 2 DAYS AGO AND IT WORKED. IF I EVER FEEL LIKE I’M ABOUT TO HAVE AN ANXIETY ATTACK, I ALWAYS THINK OF YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS. I KNOW YOU WILL HELP ME GET WELL, I BELIEVE IN YOU. HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON!!

  13. Carol says:

    Hi Geert,
I am still only receiving your emails and videos, but they help enormousyl! I have suffered panic attacks & anxiety most of my adult life in varying degrees. At the moment I have been 1 year not working due to agaraphobia and general anxiety. I know from past experience there is a way back to normality, but as I am older I feel worse than ever before, but you have given me hope that I WILL beat this again! Once I am working again I intend to invest in your program as no-one else has ever given me the hope and encouragemnet you do.
I feel you are a friend, so thank you friend for your time and support.

  14. Martha Angelica says:

    Geert!

    I Love you. hehe

Thanks for everything! I really appreciated.

  15. kari says:

I am so thankful that I came across your videos. I find them very helpful in my search for freedom from my panic. I also am waiting fr the money to invest in your program, but dofnd the videos invaluable. I feel like I’m on a journey to get to where I have peace of mind again and have to be patient. It takes time to digest information and put it into use. I was wondering if it is typical when making life changes that the frequency of panic picks up even as your ability to deal increases. Is it like getting to the center of a wound?

Thanks so much for your help

    Kari Hayes

  16. Luke says:

  17. Denise says:

    Hi Geert,

I will try to be brief. I was experiencing dizzy spells for quite some time. I am a single mother with no medical insurance. I went to the Dr. and underwent a battery of tests I could not afford. Even an MRI on my brain. All came back well and the Dr. determined I had water in my ear and told me to go home and take Sudafed! An over the conter sinus medicine.

I have to tell you that my dizzy spells stopped after your very first cd. As soon as I realized what was causing the dizziness, I was able to use the techniques in the very first cd to conquor this. I was amazed. I will continue with the cd’s in hopes I will be able to travel the highways of Florida with ease. I usually get my panic attacks while driving due to past accidents, none of which were my fault.

As far as putting your information in a book as previously suggested, I saw a special concerning the middle east. There is wide spread anxiety and not enough zoloft to go around. I think your book would sell out in the middle east both by the military and civilians alike. You would be doing a great service to those in such high stress situations.

God Bless you and all that you do,
    Denise

  18. Alan says:

    Geert:

Your initial video (and especially the no caffeine advice) has made a huge difference in my life. I can’t thank you enough.

  19. Jacques J Johnson says:

    To: Mr Geert
    From:Mr Johnson

The moral of your story is, do not give up.
Thank you Geert for your words of incouragement.

Your truly Mr Jacques J. johnson

  20. Gwen De Luca says:

Geert – Rest assured you are not recording your videos in vain. I have learned more from you than I have anyone else in the last three years that I have been battling and searching for answers to my anxiety issues. And I’m proud to be dog #2! Thanks!

  21. Joyce says:

Wow Geert! I was so the depressed dog!. I took everything personally that anyone ever said to me and took it to heart and with your instructional and informative video, I have learned how to be myself again. I underwent abandonment by my husband of 21 years. I went to church and came home and he was gone. I had no idea that there was any trouble in our marriage. My anxiety attacks started then back in 2007. I still had them terrible but once I started seeing your videos, wow, you have truly blessed me. I am not in a financial state right now where I can afford the program, but once I am you can bet your bippy I will be getting it. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.

  22. June Dicken says:

I have never had so much trouble getting in touch with I want to pay with credit card not paypal. I am desparate to get help and I believe you can help me thank you. June

  23. Lisa L says:

Geert Your videos are so uplifting! When I watch them I feel that there is hope for me, I have suffered long enough with panic and anxiety attacks, no one will ever know what feelings a person has when they experience this. I hope to one day be able to buy your cds but at the moment money is tight so I will just continue watching your videos ,take my meds, and hope and pray things will change for me in the future! By the way I love your accent! Thank ou for supporting all of us facing this challenge! You are wonderful! God Bless

  24. Rachel says:

    Hello Geert
You are a wise insightful man ,we need more like you on planet earth…

  25. carol stewart says:

Love your analogies, I could just see myself as that cowering dog, but I was always searching for the answer so maybe I was a step up on him. I started your program and you have hit the mark with everything you say, I was just like your old self and soon I”ll be like you are now. Sometimes you mention things like” do you remember
the lemon story” and I don’t have any idea what that is, and I want to learn it all. You should really put your email talks on DVD’s so we could watch them for added support. Seeing a person somehow makes it more personal. Carol

  26. Lucinda says:

    Hi Geert,

It was an interesting story, I really like your attitude, and pay attention to you, you come across very sincere.

    Thank You

  27. Alisha says:

    Hey Geert
I love your videos, they make a lot of sense, and they really have been helping! Don’t worry you’re not recording to no one, I’m listening to them.haha. I look forward to seeing your emails. ๐Ÿ™‚

  28. Kathy - Illinois says:

I am a 58 year old woman. I suffered terribly from panic attacks in my early 20’s, but due to a group called RECOVERY (which is very much like Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, but for nervous people—free to attend, and worldwide), I learned to manage my attacks, which still came from time to time. However, in the last few months, due to some realistic problems, I have been experiencing different kind of panic attacks where my heart races so fast, that I feel like I’m going to pass out immediately. (of course, emergency room tests have revealed no heart problems) So, I went on-line to see what new information I could find, and I found you! I ordered your program, and I must say to anyone who is wondering whether they should order or not, TAKE THE CHANCE!!!! Your information is almost identical to RECOVERY’S founder Dr. Abraham Low–his books were written in the 1930’s–you can still find them in a library, or order through your local bookstore, as they are still in print, but even though the information is timeless, they are a bit outdated to today’s world. You have put a “new spin” on it, and have given me a much needed “shot in the arm” to once again conquer these, as Dr. Low puts it: DISTRESSING, BUT NOT DANGEROUS, panic attack!! I suggest people somehow find the money to order your sessions—THEY WILL WORK!!!!! (and therapy and medications cost a fortune anyway, and rarely work for a permanent solution) Also, find a RECOVERY meeting in your city to supplement what Geert’s sessions and videos teach.(go on-line and look up RECOVERY, based in Chicago, IL.) You will not regret your decision! Many thanks Geert for your down-to-earth, common sense approach to conquering panic attacks!!!!!!!!! You are a very wise and kind young man! Cordially, Kathy Conley — Gilberts, Illinois

  33. Marie says:

Interesting videos, though i’m in the UK and haven’t read yet weather or not you post to here..My son has clinical depression for years 16 till 29years old.
.I’m really writing about myself as caring for him seems to have made me very anxious and nervous. I come from a family who are anxious ,but it’s getting to a point were I don’t even want to go out .

I’v neglected friends and in my own little world..I walk the dog at night as have got worse been around people..I cant believe I’m writing this .I’m at home for my son (hes very good at research and has a few hopeful people helping ) I could write so much more but I’m thinking to my self “what is the point ,as I need to change myself instead of thinking others care enough to help and its mind over matter at the end of the day”. I had a panic attack just once,my doc prescribe antidepressant and anxiety tabs. They do help but make me sleep a lot .Life seems to be passing me by..Thanks for listening …Marie.
Oh and yes I felt sorry for the little whipping dog in the corner ,I could almost feel his hurt ,I’m very sensitive .

  34. Kristi says:

Geert, Thank you so much for your emails and inspiration. May God bless you and all you do.
    Kristi

  35. krishnan says:

Dear Geert, Today’s video is fantastic!Thank you.The simple example of the behaviour patterns of the two dogs is so instructive….and it is important to understand this whether one has panic attacks or not!Really enjoyed watching this video. Thanks once again

  36. Chloe says:

Dear Geert, I love watching your videos and I suffer with panic attacks and I’m only ten. I look forward to watching your videos because they help me. I find that when I get panic attacks, I want to cling to my mum who also used to get them when she was young so she knows how I feel. I’m hoping they will dissapear soon. Please reply,
    Love your fan, Chloe

  38. caroline says:

you are an amazing person and coach. I loved this video. I know you are right. One of the main assumptions I made was that the past would repeat itself. You have clearly told me it is not the case. It is the thing I needed to hear. I will now keep on forging ahead with trials and error until I find my solutions. I will jump the little wall in front of me.

with much love and gratitude. Caroline

I love the ease with which you speak and explain. It really makes these panic attacks seem like something that is manageable and makes me feel that I can lead the life I used to before them. Thanks.

  42. Jennifer Babiuk says:

I stumbled across your web site looking in vain for some help to over come my panic attacks that I have suffered with for the past 12 years on and off. This spell of panic has lasted over a year this time. Your videos have begun to help and I am planning on using the cds you have. I feel that I am a very strong person on the inside and growing tired of fighting the battle with this. I love to travel and pushing forward to my vacation to Vancouver island next month and I have faith that with my determination and your coaching just may be what I need to beat this horrible nightmare of panic attacks

  43. Moshe says:

Geert is the Best, Forget about the rest!

Keep up the good work, we all appreciate it, and may god bless you with all the best. so you can help more and more people.

  44. Diane says:

    Geert,
I, like many people I have read about here, have lost my job and can’t afford the sessions. Maybe if you were able to put all the information from your sessions into a book that would sell for maybe $30 or $40 a lot more people could benefit from your help. There must be many people that don’t even have access to a computer that desperately need your help.
I have had anxiety, panic and agoraphobia for many years on and off. It all came back when I got off the medication I was taking but I don’t want to be on it ever again. I know it’s not the solution. Then I found your website only to find I can’t afford the sessions. Please consider a book ( I’d love to help you write and edit it ๐Ÿ™‚
Thank you for your free videos. It lets us know that all things are possible.

    Diane

  45. Tom says:

    Hi Geert,
I’m trying to keep up with your videos, they are really helpful and mean alot to me. This one makes me feel alot better because it definitely reinforces my hope to one day be panic free and have a more fulfilling life. Thank you very much, and keep the videos coming!
    Take Care,
    Tom.

  46. April Dawn says:

Hello Geert, I have to say I agree with Carol about putting all of your stuff on dvd, I am seriously considering purchasing your material, your emails and videos are terrific, I can honetly say they have got me started, I love you and what you stand for. Thanks and be blessed.

  47. Marianne says:

    Hi!
I like your videos, because I did not know, why I was feeling, when I was breathing really heavily and couldยดt do anything about it. They have become more frequent, but your videos are helping me. Sometimes it is just a bit hard to catch up with life, especially when you are a young person. And you are right about the ways: just keep on trying until you find a way which is best for you.
We have to love ourselves, even our panick attacks. So I hope eventually I can learn to love the panick and turn it from a helpless situation into a good healthy life.
So, my sincere thanks for helping. And by the way, I think more people than you know are watching your videos.

  48. Angela says:

I have suffered from Panic Attacks for the last 20 years. I have thought that I was “alone” in feeling the way I do. It helps knowing others are going through what I am going through and finding ways to live life without them. ๐Ÿ™‚

  49. Kat says:

    Geert,

Great analogy, people he knows what hes talking about, but only u can heal yourself, float, listen to cds, take notes, put everything into practice, change yoursel, he can only guide u, u have to do the work, i used his cd for a set back and a new point of view but their really all the same, one has to be willing to change inner self and thats where his cds guide you and if u follow his advice 110% you will complete recover and learn to deal with memory. I desire your complete recovery and i pray u do too because only wben u do will u be brave enough to do the work required till it becomes the new you thank you greet for all u do

  52. Lois says:

I’m on week 8 of the program and although I have sought counceling, I find when I’m having a difficult time, I play your program and find your voice is soothing, comforting and gets me through my attack and I’m so grateful for that.. You have been a tremendous help and I’m am fortunate I’ve come across your program. Thanks for all you do to help me and others with their anxiety/panic attacks.

    Best regards,
    Lois

  53. Lee says:

In the late 90’s I bought the course offered by the Midwest Center. It was helpful to some degree, but I still have panic attacks, and I still have a terrible time trying to travel. If I get more than an hour away from home by car, I start to get nervous. More than two hours away and I get panic attacks. When I was still having panic attacks after completing the Midwest Center course I called them, and they suggested I try medication. Medications helped at that time, as I was worse then than now, but the effect topped out. I still found myself unable to go beyond a certain parameter, or comfort zone. For over a decade now, I have felt trapped within this two hour radius. All of these comments are so positive. . . which actually makes me feel a little suspicious. LOL. My main question to you is, are you familiar with the Midwest Center course (you say you keep up on the competition) and what, if anything, makes your course different? Should I still try your course, when success has eluded me with theirs?

  54. Erica Bruce, LCSW says:

I am a Psychotherapist and have referred many clients to your site. Thank you for the work you do to help others live a happy successful life!!

    Erica ๐Ÿ˜‰

  55. Erika says:

Love your personality. I personally believe that anyone who suffers from panic attacks are more creative , witty and sensitive than average. The father of psychology Freud was agoraphobic. It is very common to have an anxiety disorder, it is not a mental illness. I have had panic attacks since I was a little girl and im glad I listened to your tapes rather than going to a dr to get a happy pill.

  56. Mari Sawan says:

    Geert,
I’ve been watching all your videos, and in my view, this is the best of them, because this example that you give is completly practical, and just by watching it , sort of an “enlightenment” triggers a change of behaviour immediatly.
Im grateful for having seen it!!!
    PErfecT!

  57. Coco H says:

Since giving up caffeine and everything else you suggested my anxiety has disappeared, it’s very strange I keep expecting it to suddenly rear its ugly head, but so far it hasn’t.
Thank you so much I’m only just on session 3 but have already experienced such an amazing transformation. ๐Ÿ™‚

  58. Anita says:

Thank u so much for all your help ! It is very important to have some one who understand about how many of us feeling , and u trying to help !!!!! Thank again hope to hear from u soon god blees u

  59. Kelly Mcewan Dobson says:

Thank you again for your email. I am also reading Claire Weekes at te moment but I would love to read a book by you too. Lol do it do it x

  60. Tony UK says:

    Geert,

When I think I can’t be amazed anymore up pop’s another video from you which always rings “Truth”. I have received all of of the course and I have just finished session 3. Having suffered from Panic Attacks for over 4 years daily – I have just come back from a family holiday which is the first holiday in 5 years. I haven’t had a Panic Attack for 4 weeks since I started the audio course and so enjoyed my holiday. The great thing is all of my family commented on how well and back to normal I look. I’ve been off work for 3 months and I’m planning to to return to work in October. I’ve come off Citalopram (an anti-depressant) and I’m actually looking forward to going back to work. What inspires me is your journey which is so similar to mine and the fact that after only just 3 sessions the Magic is Happening.

    You are my Hero
    I’m so greatful Geert

  61. Paul Stokes says:

    Hi Geert,

Firstly let me thank you for sending me all of these recent videos, Ive been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks since april 1999. I spent the first two years having a brain scan, ears syringed, camera up my nose blood tests, heart tests and sinus x-rays. Luckily i’m in England so it didn’t cost any money, which is good because they all came back negative. I didn’t know what else to do because the doctors couldn’t give me answers so i just learnt to live with IT. But until recently (the past two months) I didn’t even know what IT was. Over the last thirteen years I’ve just wished my life away hoping that tomorrow I will feel normal again, thinking i must be the only person that has ever felt like this. Now that I finally Know what the problem is I am finally able to do something about it. Ive read Terry Dixons ‘Evolving self confidence’ Which has really helped and is a great book, but it does not mention if the author ever experienced anxiety or panic attacks(probably not) . I’ve got to say though that your videos have made so much of a difference already in my life, that i can’t thank you enough. Will be buying your cd’s when i get paid at the end of the month, can’t wait . keep up the fantastic work.

    Bye for now

    Paul ๐Ÿ™‚

  62. Debbie P says:

Geert as ever I am in awe of you I am beginning to believe you are a modern day messiah !!! ! You understand so well . Yes I get it with the dogs you’re right sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees ! I Am so glad I’ve found you . Thank you. You say that you feel blessed to speak to us but in fact it is we that are blessed to have found you I look forward to next video . Debbie . UK

  63. Joan says:

Geert, I didnโ€™t realize that nearly all my life I suffered from mild panic attacks until recently I had a severe panic / anxiety attack. I thought I was going to die! Literally, everything you describe was happening to me and I did not know how to get a grip. I was desperate and did not want to take meds. I found your book online and immediately ordered it and started to read. It seemed like a miracle; I wasnโ€™t dying and what I was feeling is real. I began to take over my mind and thoughts and working my way towards getting better. Thanks for all you do!
